“ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS”

“In our 26 years of doing restaurant reviews, we have never seen fried bologna, fried Spam sticks, and fried cheesecake done like this.”

— Cheli Strumila, Ocean Springs Weekly Record, January 2026

EVERYTHING FRIED IN BEEF TALLOW

Chicken on a Stick, Garage Wings, the Campfire Dawg, a proper Philly. No seed oils anywhere in the building — we fry in 100% grass-fed beef tallow, which is also why the fries taste the way they do.

WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK

Tuesday — Steak Night. Our best night of the week, and it books up.

Wednesday — Chef Eric's Special. Whatever he feels like cooking. Ask at the bar.

Game days, we have the sound on and the doors up.

TAKE THE GARAGE HOME

The same tallow we fry in, the sauce off the wings, and the shirt off our back.

IT WAS A GARAGE FIRST

The building went up as a service garage in the 1970s. It was Kwitzky's, then the Dugout, and the bones never changed — the roll-up doors still work, the RC Cola signs are still on the wall, and Smokey and the Bandit is still painted where everybody can see it. We kept all of it and put a kitchen in.

BEFORE YOU COME BY

The questions we get asked at the door.

We seat walk-ins first and keep it casual. Tuesday Steak Night is the one that fills up, so call ahead at (228) 215-1988 if that is the night you want.

There is street parking along Government Street and the surrounding blocks in downtown Ocean Springs. The Alley entrance is around the side of the building.

Yes. There is a kids menu, the arcade games are in the back, and the roll-up doors mean the room never feels like a bar even when the bar is busy.

Every fryer in the building runs 100% grass-fed beef tallow. No canola, no soybean, no vegetable blend, and no swapping it out when tallow costs more. It is the whole reason the food tastes the way it does.

That is exactly what the retail line is. Same tallow, same rosemary garlic infusion, in a 16 oz tin or a gallon refill. The seasonings and the CA Cola BBQ sauce are the ones we use on the line too.

The pantry line and the merch ship anywhere in the country. Food does not — for that you have to come see us.
